Service Times: Sunday’s @ 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am
What Can I Expect?
You can expect to hear a compelling sermon instilled with a strong Biblical foundation and a focus on the Gospel. You can also expect engaging songs aimed at glorifying God and inspiring people, real people overcoming real problems in life, and a multimedia experience to support the message. We value truth over trend, authenticity over performance, relationship over results, excellence over perfection, relevance over tradition, creativity over complacency, and Christ above all else.
What Should I Wear?
Whether you come in a three-piece suit or jeans and a t-shirt, there is no dress code for our worship services–we just want to see you here! We do ask that your clothing choice is respectful of others regarding modesty and not distracting to anyone’s worship experience.
How Early Should I Arrive At A Service?
Arrive Early: We usually have complimentary coffee and donuts on Sundays before each service. Make sure you get there in time to check your kids into kid’s classes, and find a seat before the service begins.
Where Do My Children Go?
Kids are at the heart of all that we do at Port Orange Christian Church. We have specific ministries and programs designed for all ages. Children, birth through 5th grade, have programming available to them during all weekend worship services times. Kids are securely checked in and out between services. We have Kid’s Church (J.A.M.) during our 9am & 11:30am service. During our 10:15 service we have Awana Express for kids. In Awana Express, Kids go through the Awana handbooks and learn God’s Word in a fun environment and earn awards and are recognized for their hard work.
What About My Teenagers?
Every Sunday night at 6:30 our church offers a ministry geared toward students called Fuse. (Middle School and High School aged kids). We gather together for biblical teaching, community, prayer, small groups, and goofy fun. We also encourage our teens to be involved in Sunday school (offers at 10:15am) and a regular weekend worship service. Teens also have a lot of off campus activities. To participate in those activities make sure you download the parental consent form here: Parental Consent Form
