Through this time of recovery and rebuilding in Haiti Port Orange Christian Church has been committed to finding ways to mobilize people, supplies, and resources in an effort to do as much as we can to help. We are currently awaiting information from IDES, International Disaster Emergency Services, in regards to making a trip to Haiti in an effort to support our missionaries that are currently there working and serving alongside Haitian recovery teams.
We would like to thank all who dropped off donations to help in the relief effort in Haiti. Because of the generosity of all who donated and to the company who supplied us with a truck to collect the donations in, we were able to send over a trailer full of relief/recovery items (food, medical supplies, tents, etc.) with the missionaries we support in Haiti. Through their hands, your generosity will reach those in need in Haiti.
