North Florida Christian Service Camp

North Florida Christian Service Camp and its staff seek to create an atmosphere that helps both youth and adults to focus their attention on the Lord Jesus Christ. Our programming is geared toward helping people make a decision to become a Christian as well as building Christians up in faith. This is achieved through accurate study and application of the written word of God and through living examples of committed Christ-like staff.

By design, North Florida Christian Service Camp is a cooperative effort with churches, families and individuals of the north Florida area. This camp is a ministry tool to be used of God, to bring about growth and maturity in the lives of his people. This spirit of cooperation is evident not only in our summer program but also in year-round efforts for North Florida Christian Service Camp.

His Seed Sowers

His Seed Sowers, Haiti, was one of the original missions POCC sponsored. They have grown from two churches to seven, from one school to five, a radio station and a precision drill team, The Brigade. There are many distractions in Haiti, however Emmanuel and his family continue to be strong spreading the Word.

Gospel for the Roma

Travis and Emilie Jones both graduated with degrees in missions from Kentucky Christian College, they felt like God was calling us to spend some time in the States getting practical ministry experience in our own culture. Recently, however, they have been reminded of the deep-seated passion they both have to serve God overseas as long-term missionaries.

They became aware of an opportunity to partner with a ministry that matches both of their gifts and passions almost perfectly.  After a lot of prayer and consideration they decided to join an organization called New Mission Systems International. They will be joining their team of missionaries preparing to go to Bulgaria to minister to the Roma (Gypsy) population of Velingrad, in the southwestern part of the country.

Jesse Frame grew up at POCC and we supported him while he attended Bible college. Jesse, his wife, Cynthia, son, Josiah and the new baby they are expecting in September, are preparing to move to Newcastle, Australia to begin their work as Missionaries. Their vision is to build a community of disciples through their work at the Charlestown Church of Christ. Their purpose is to recruit, train, and release into ministry the people of Australia.

Partners in Missions

Ray and Pam Trantham have been living and working in Odessa, Ukraine as full-time missionaries since 1995. Their main work is that of training national leaders for ministry by teaching at Odessa Theological Seminary.  Although they are Americans, they know their task is not to transplant the "American" church in Ukraine, but to use the specialized training they have received in America to equip Ukrainians to evangelize their own country. Nationals will always be more effective than foreigners, but today they have great opportunity to join their efforts in Ukraine.

Florida Church Partners

Because of the incredible population growth in the state of Florida there is an incredible need for new churches in our state. Florida Church Partners provides strategic planning, coaching, and finances to meet that need.

We focus on matching the right location, right funding, right lead planter, right staff, right venue, and right specific local church vision at the right time so Christ’s Church reaches her full potential in communities throughout Florida.  Our heartbeat is “planting churches…changing lives”.  And we believe that is the heartbeat of Jesus.

Merendon Mountain Mission

Toby & Amy Hill arrived in the mission field of the Merendon Mountains (Honduras) in June of 1998. They started with a home, medical clinic, church building and a four wheel drive Toyota Truck. In just eight short years the original church building has been expanded to seat 150 instead of 40, two other churches are in their own buildings and four house churches/preaching points are opening the way for more established churches. Doors are opening through the medical care Amy provides at the Penitas base church/clinic.
